Mental Maths
This term, we are focusing on Mental Maths and solving a variety of sums using speed and accuracy. We have been practising counting on and counting back. This is where you lock the biggest number in your head, and either count on, or back, by the smallest number. We use a program called Quickulations that shows lots of sums and changes after a certain amount of seconds. We started at 10 seconds and now we are solving sums in less than 5 seconds!
