WA Day Door

This week wattle Grove Primary School celebrated WA Day by holding a decorate your door competition. Our class decided we would like to do Exmouth. We did a fact finding activities about the different sea animals you would see in the Ningaloo Reef which is in the ocean surrounding Exmouth. We learnt about the Whale Sharks, Mantarays, Bottlenose Dolphin, Leatherback Turtles, fish and Tiger Sharks.

We also learnt how to read a weather chart then mapped the weather of Exmouth. Did you know that Exmouth is practically hot and sunny all year round even when it is Winter. They say that Exmouth get 362 days of sunshine in a year. The water temperature can vary between 22 - 28 degrees.

In Exmouth, there are many fun activities you can do too. We looked these up on the Visitors Centre website. You can go swimming with the whale sharks and mantarays, go fishing, relax on the beach, go snorkelling and even four wheel driving.

We think this is the best holiday spot in Western Australia. Mrs S said that if we go during the holidays we have to take her with us!

Below are some photos of our door or feel free to pop in and see it.
